Primstav, a wooden calendar used in Norway for centuries and the Celtic cycle of festivals both mark the changing seasons. Join us for the next storytelling house concert at Søndre Gjettum, Bærum, in our year long cycle, this time celebrating ‘Beltane’ or ‘Gauksmesse’ with traditional stories, songs and seasonal food.

‘Being in this private setting was intimate and beautiful, and created a feeling of togetherness.’

‘It was absolutely amazing…the touching, beautiful stories. That food lifted the whole experience. Angela’s incredible knack for telling stories … you should hear her first if you’ve never heard a professional storyteller before.’

‘It has a different sense of intimacy and ‘family-feel’ that I like. Informal and yet like a special occasion. A really lovely experience, to be able to receive all the stories, journey in the images, and share this space.’

‘Wonderful to mingle and share our impressions after the stories….to join in a social occasion where there was a sense of how people have met for thousands of years, to share stories and sit together in community. The old dignified house was brilliant for the mood of the stories. Angela conveys a calm that makes us feel well in a busy time.’
